Two-year-old treble: Solo Quest, Siena Storm and Venetian Storm victorious at Newmarket

A fantastic day as two-year-olds Solo Quest, Siena Storm and Venetian Storm bolted up in their respective races at Newmarket to land a treble for the team.

Justifying favouritism, Solo Quest went one better than his only other run to win Division I of the EBF Novice Stakes by an impressive four lengths. Dominating the race from the beginning, Solo Quest broke quickly from the stalls and set the tempo in this seven furlong race in the hands of Kieran Shoemark. Easily clear of rivals within the final furlong, this son of Space Blues out of Homecoming (Zoffany) won going away and established himself as an exciting prospect going forward for owner TBT Racing.

Siena Storm landed a double for owner TBT Racing and proved her class when routing the field in the Listed Irish Stallion Farm EBF "Bosra Sham" Fillies' Stakes, winning by six lengths. Dropped back in trip to six furlongs for the first time, this daughter of Night of Thunder out of Sous Les Etoiles (Sea The Stars) settled in towards the rear of the thirteen runner field. Making swift headway approaching the final two and a half furlongs, Siena Storm lead the field by a length going into the final furlong, putting the race to bed with this excellent turn of foot. In the hands of Kieran Shoemark, she continued to extend her advantage all the way to the line, winning by six lengths.

Lady Bamford's filly Venetian Storm broke her maiden on only her second start and completed the treble for the Kingsdown Stables team when winning over a Novice Stakes over six furlongs. A two-year-old daughter of Night of Thunder out of Vesnina (Sea The Stars), Venetian Storm broke quickly from the stalls and made all in the hands of Kieran Shoemark. Shaken up heading into the final two furlongs, she kicked clear of the rest of the field and quickly gained an advantage of two and a half lengths, an advantage she maintained to win comfortably.

Thank you to the continued dedication and hard work of our team at home, and congratulations to all connections. Pictured below is Lady Bamford's Venetian Storm.
