Friday Runners
We have 5 runners today at Kempton and Newbury:
First up at Kempton:
Marjoram (1.15pm) has been showing up well enough at home. I think she probably wants a little bit further than the 6f she is running over today and it looks an extremely warm race but we have got to start somewhere and hopefully she can run with promise.
Old Friend (2.15pm) has been pleasing me with his homework and this looks as good a place to start as any. I feel he will need further in due course and this looks a very competitive maiden but I am hoping for a good solid run from him.
Dreamweaver (3.15pm) is in cracking form and we know he handles the artificial surfaces having won at Newcastle last year. Tlooks a great spot for him, although 1m3f is certainly on the sharp side for him. I think he has a really bright season ahead of him and he’s looking, moving and training extremely well so fingers crossed for a flying start.
Over at Newbury:
Temple Bruer (7pm) is a nice 2yo colt and I have been very happy with his recent work. Like all of my 2yo’s he is sure to come on a bundle for the experience.
Coconut (8pm) is a sweet filly who is still quite green so whatever happens today she is sure to improve a tonne for it but I think she will run with credit and hopefully show plenty of promise for the future.
