Four runners at Newbury today including Stormy Antarctic

Today we have four runners heading to Newbury:

Burke And Wills (12.15pm) has been working well and is ready to make his debut on the track. I don’t think we will see him at his best on soft ground but I hope he makes a decent start here today.

Singing Sheriff (1.15pm) is in great order and ready to go. He has not yet managed to show his all-weather form on the turf so far in his career, but he is more than capable so I hope he will show us that today over his ideal trip.

Sunday Star (2.25pm) is in great order and has been working very well ahead of lining up in what looks a very open Listed race. She is another that would have preferred the rain to stay away so hopefully the ground wont be too much of an issue for her today.

Stormy Antarctic (3.35pm) has been off the track for the best part of a year and makes his long awaited return today. The track and ground will be ideal for him and he seems to be in fine form at home so I’m very hopeful he will run a big race as he so often does.

Pictured below is Stormy at home and his regular rider Jack.
