6 runners today at Newmarket and Haydock

We have another busy day today with 6 runners across two meetings, Newmarket and Haydock. See below Ed's thoughts:

First up at Haydock, Bucephalus (1.30pm) has done quite a lot of work but I have no doubt he will improve for a run. He looks a picture and I just hope the ground will be not be too quick for him today.

Royal Intervention (4.25pm)  is as well as I can have her without a run and this should be a great stepping stone to Ascot. Should have a great chance if jumping out of the stalls well.

Nina Bailarina (4.25pm) is in great form and ready to go. Any forecast rain will be a positive for her and I hope she can get her season off to a good start.

Glorious Caesar (6.10pm) is in flying form and I’m really looking forward to seeing him back on the track and on turf today. I think Haydock will suit him really well and he is going for his hattrick so fingers crossed he can get it done.

Over at Newmarket, Eagles Crag (4.45pm) is ready to make his debut on the track and has been pleasing me in his work at home. I have no doubt he will come on for the run but ought to give a good account of himself today.

Mountain Peak  is another who appears to be in cracking form and has been working well. The faster the ground the better his chances are enhanced.
