Thursday Girl battles strongly to win at Newmarket

Thursday Girl returned to winning ways when landing a 1m Fillies' Handicap at Newmarket.

A three-year-old daughter of Pinatubo out of Dream Dana (Dream Ahead), Thursday Girl settled towards the rear of the field in the hands of Kieran Shoemark. She showed a good turn of foot to challenge the leader within the final two furlongs, battling gamely to the line to win by a nose.

Congratulations to her owner Chris Stedman.
