Spirit Of Athene justifies favouritism at Sandown

Spirit Of Athene struck at Sandown on Wednesday, landing the Spillers Fillies' Handicap under Ashley Lewis claiming 5lb.

A daughter of Time Test out of the Champs Elysees mare Spirit Of Appin, Spirit Of Athene runs in the colours of Much More Racing and was bred by Wellsummers Farm. Her win marks a second career success for the filly.
