Siena Storm gets off the mark in style at Salisbury

Siena Storm breaks her maiden on only her second start when landing the Tattersalls EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes at Salisbury.

Purchased at the Arqana Breeze Up sales in May, this two year old daughter of Night of Thunder, out of a Sea The Stars mare Sous Les Etoiles, was ridden patiently by Kieran Shoemark. She settled at the rear of the field before picking up strongly to join the leader inside the final two furlongs. The two then pulled well clear of the rest of the field, battling to the line where Siena Storm found more to win by a neck.

This was a competitive Class 2, and Siena Storm now looks an exciting prospect for owners TBT Racing, with the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes and Group 1 Fillies' Mile among her autumn targets. Many congratulations and good luck to all connections.
