Group 3 success for Alfred Wallace in the Solario Stakes

Alfred Wallace returned to winning ways at Sandown when landing the Group 3 BetMGM Solario Stakes for owner/breeder Rockliffe Stud.

The two year old son of Dubawi out of Snow Lantern (Frankel) tracked the leader, before hitting the front 2 furlongs out. He bravely defended challengers within the final half a furlong to win by 1/2 a length in the hands of Kieran Shoemark. Proving his versatility, Alfred Wallace won here on Good to Soft ground, having previously won on Good to Firm going. Many congratulations to all connections.
