Arctic Thunder shows an impressive turn of foot at Haydock

A 7lb rise in ratings proved no match for Arctic Thunder, who makes it back-to-back victories when storming home to win the Betway Capital City Handicap at Haydock by two and a half lengths.

Running in the purple and yellow silks of owners Chris & David Stam, this five-year old son of Night of Thunder out of an Exceed and Excel mare, Al Kirana, stalked the field from the rear before easing clear with a fantastic turn of foot in the last 3f of this 7f race.
